Turning Chapada Diamantina into a sanctuary for people and nature

Mission
We promote the regeneration of Chapada Diamantina — an ancestral territory in the heart of Bahia — through transformative and scalable projects that foster:
-
Transgenerational prosperity
-
Ecological and social renewal
-
High-value family farming and thriving local communities
All in partnership with companies committed to ESG leadership and decarbonization goals in Brazil.
A living laboratory for semi-arid biomes
We believe Chapada Diamantina is a full-scale laboratory for Brazil’s semi-arid biomes — an ecotone between the Cerrado and the Caatinga, with remnants of the Atlantic Forest. It holds a strong agroecological, touristic, and cultural vocation, a dense human presence, and immense potential for regenerative impact.
Here, it is possible to scale up the vital effort to regenerate two of Brazil’s most threatened biomes — ecosystems whose ecological, climatic, and cultural contributions are simply invaluable.
We dream of a Chapada that is vibrant, prosperous, productive, and just — where caring for the land brings more water, food, and peace. A region that honors its roots while reinventing itself with intelligence, beauty, and collaboration.

Services
We design tailored carbon and ESG solutions for companies committed to environmental and social goals in Brazil.

Reforestation (ARR) and Landscape Management
High-integrity carbon credits from traceable, regenerative projects with real local impact. Territorial and landscape management focused on biodiversity, water, and inclusive livelihoods. We develop pioneering initiatives to make the regeneration of Brazil’s semi-arid biomes a replicable success model.

Agroforestry and Family Farming
Development of high-value regenerative supply chains that tap into the unique potential of Chapada Diamantina as a gastronomic terroir, including agroforestry, specialty fruits, native organic honey, premium coffee, olive oil, medicinal plants, and more.

ESG projects aimed at traditional communities
Social impact projects rooted in biodiversity, agroecology, cooperativism, education, culture, social justice, gender equity, and anti-racism.
Origin
Odé , in Yoruba, means hunter, guardian of the forest.
Guayi , from Tupi-Guarani, means “seed” or “good seed”.
Together, they evoke the image of an organization that, like a mindful hunter, seeks out the seeds of regeneration.
A social enterprise rooted in the ancestral heritage of the land, devoted to making Chapada Diamantina a sanctuary for both nature and people.
